Cain Safety Fire Protection Inc. is looking for a full-time fire alarmtechnician to join their professional and highly skilled team of employees.Candidates must be willing to work Monday to Friday while occasionallyattending after hour service calls on weeknights and weekends. Cain Safety FireProtection Inc. is committed to providing their customers with quality fireprotection services around the clock and is seeking a candidate that willrepresent the company in a professional and respectful manor while dealing withboth customers and fellow colleagues.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilitieswill include:

• Performing monthly, semi-annual and annual inspections on fire alarmsystems, sprinkler systems, kitchen systems, fire extinguishers, emergencylights and hoses
• Assisting in installing new fire alarm systems and verifying thefunctionality of the system by testing devices, connections and signals
• Preparing thorough reports and documents using a tablet
• Identifying problems with fire alarm panels and successfully troubleshootingthem
• Attending after hours and weekend service calls

Qualifications:

Preferably,candidates should have:

• An electrical and/or electronics diploma, or equivalent from accreditedcollege/university or documented and demonstrated trade qualification

Canadian Fire Alarm Association (CFAA) Registration or comparablequalification is an asset

Requirements:

• A clean and valid driver’s license (G-license)
• Strong oral and written communication skills in the English language –French is an asset

Experience:

• 1-2 years experience in the fire protection industry is an asset
• Group health benefits after 6 months of employment

• Company cell phone or cell phone allowance

Pay will bebased on experience.
