FIRE ALARM TECHNICIAN

Our Timmins, ON branch is currently looking for a Fire Alarm Technician to join their team!

As a Fire Alarm Technician, you will be responsible for maintenance, inspections, and repairs on fire alarm systems, fire extinguishers, emergency lighting systems, and other life safety systems as required.

Responsibilities

1. Ensure the highest standard of system reliability and client satisfaction.
2. Perform verifications on fire alarm systems.
3. Complete work orders and report in a timely fashion.
4. Be on-call for emergency service calls and work.
5. Act as liaison between the customer and Troy.
6. Understand and adhere to applicable ULC, CSA, and Canadian Electrical codes and standards.
7. Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

1. CFAA Certification preferred.
2. Two years of community college in electronics or equivalent training/work experience.
3. Previous training or experience in fire alarm systems and/or electrical background.
4. Proficient in the use of computers.
5. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
6. Exceptional customer service and organizational skills.
