Role Description

The Fire Alarm Apprentice is a full-time, on-site role based in Saskatoon, SK, supporting the installation, testing, inspection, and maintenance of fire alarm and life safety systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting senior technicians with system wiring, device installation, troubleshooting, and repairs, as well as helping perform functional tests to verify system performance and compliance with codes and standards. The apprentice will help document work performed, maintain tools and equipment, and follow all company and regulatory safety procedures. This role involves learning to interpret drawings and specifications, supporting project schedules, and communicating clearly with team members, customers, and site personnel. The position offers hands-on technical training and progression opportunities within fire protection, life safety, and security services.
