Principal Accountabilities

  • Pulling and picking finished goods for orders as per daily shipping assignments
  • Following exact counts of required totes per order
  • Assembling, scanning, and assigning orders to a pallet ID (one pallet ID per pallet, one product SKU per pallet)
  • Ensuring tote count accuracy according to the shipping report
  • Using a forklift to transport and stack pallets and move products onto trailers or into storage
  • Wrapping pallets with hand wrap to ensure stability
  • Passing a forklift training course and demonstrating forklift skills competence
  • Using a hand jack for moving DSD orders
  • Following supervisor instructions and completing assigned tasks
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy work area
  • Labeling totes/boxes accurately with proper products
  • Processing products that meet customer specifications
  • Moving/lifting 10-20 kg totes/boxes
  • Following safety rules, policies, and procedures at all times
  • Wearing personal protective equipment consistently
  • Reporting defective equipment to supervisors
  • Being aware of slippery floors and practicing safe walking, not rushing or running

Required Qualifications

  • Previous warehouse experience
  • Experience in physically demanding jobs
  • Comfort working with raw meat (beef, pork, chicken)
  • Ability to work in cold environments (0-4°C) and stand for long hours
  • Availability to work multiple shifts
  • Passing a company medical examination
  • Passing a criminal background check

  • Basic math skills
  • Basic computer skills
