Puroclean is an emergency restoration company that is currently searching for a Carpenter to join our growing organization in Auburn Hills, Michigan. We are seeking a multi-skilled Carpenter. Someone who can do just about anything that is given to them in any phase of the construction process. The goal of this position is to restore and construct residential and commercial property after an event such as a fire, water, storm damage, or vehicle damage with high quality and speed.

Responsibilities:
  • Ability to work independently but, also, to work with other carpenters as a team
  • Ability to complete various types of carpentry; rough and finish
  • Ability to complete minor drywall, minor painting, minor electrical, and minor plumbing
  • Communicate effectively with customers, employees, and other trades
  • Recognize potential problems with the project and communicate to the Project Managers
  • Managing Customer Satisfaction and representing the brand
  • Effectively perform all aspects of the production processes
  • Regular Vehicle and equipment maintenance and organization
  • Working with your direct supervisor to ensure team is unified and efficient
  • Following all uniform and policy guidelines in line with the Brand Identity Guide
  • Always leaving jobsites with a clean and orderly appearance
  • Developing production expertise through providing services
  • Maintaining cleanliness of products and equipment to the highest standard
  • Ensure clear communication with office staff, immediate supervisor and fellow technicians
Qualifications:
  • Experience in rough and finish carpentry
  • Drywall and Painting experience is a MUST
  • Minor electrical & plumbing experience is preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of construction industry-standard techniques and methods is required
  • Must be aware of safety standards and protocols
  • Self-motivated and proactive
  • Current valid drivers license with a clean driving record
  • Willingness for continued learning and growth
  • Attention to details in organization, cleanliness and care for facility, assets and equipment
  • Aptitude with record keeping, recording information and communicating ‘the message’
  • Awareness and respect for safety, using care are caution with teammates and customers
  • Strength with multitasking and handling deadlines
  • Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. and comfortable on your feet for prolonged periods of time
  • Learn and develop new professional skills in a fast-paced environment

Compensation: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
