Beem Credit Union is seeking a Financial Solutions Associate at the Oakridge Branch to deliver holistic financial guidance and non-licensed investment education to members. You will support goal-based advisory, deepen member relationships, and identify opportunities aligned with milestones such as saving and debt management.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Licensed Specialists for referrals and a strong focus on member experience and digital onboarding.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in advisory or retail financial services.
• Strong understanding of investment principles and registered products.
• Excellent relationship management and member engagement skills.
• Excellent communication and coaching skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct discovery conversations to understand member goals, priorities, and milestones.
• Provide general investment education and guidance on savings products (RRSP, TFSA, RESP, term deposits, GICs).
• Support budgeting, emergency savings planning, and debt reduction approaches.
• Identify when member needs require licensed advice and provide appropriate referrals.
• Assist members with credit needs, including mortgages, loans, lines of credit, and credit optimization strategies.
• Ensure lending activities comply with internal standards and regulatory requirements.
• Deliver exceptional service and proactive follow-ups to help members reach financial goals.
• Document all interactions in the CRM system for effective engagement.
• Support digital onboarding and encourage use of digital tools.
