A leading company is looking for a part-time support staff member to play a key role in financial tracking and reporting at Sheridan College. The ideal candidate will support budgeting processes, maintain accurate financial records, and manage clerical responsibilities. Preference will be given to qualified regular part-time employees within the Part Time Support Staff bargaining unit at Sheridan College. Should a suitable candidate not be found, external candidates will be considered.
The incumbent plays a key role in tracking and reporting on expenditures, actual vs budget, and provides organizational, clerical, and administrative support within Continuing and Professional Studies (CAPS). Reporting to the Associate Director, Operations, the incumbent assists with developing and monitoring CAPS’ budgets, including but not limited to; purchasing, payroll, reconciling expenses against budget, invoicing, financial reporting and analysis. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring accurate data in financial reporting. The incumbent helps organize and co-ordinate projects and supports the Manager, Finance and Business Operations with other duties as assigned.
