Job summary

AWS is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to advise Financial Services & Insurance customers on adopting AWS technology in Canada. You will partner with sales and engineering to craft scalable, resilient cloud architectures that address business problems and accelerate cloud adoption.

The role requires strong communication with executive stakeholders, deep knowledge of cloud services, and a proactive approach to customer success.

Qualifications

4+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience.
2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience.
Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients.

Responsibilities

Build deep relationships with customers to become a trusted advisor for their cloud workloads.
Support achievement of revenue objectives through adoption and migration of applications, software, and services onto the AWS platform in partnership with the sales team.
Educate customers on the value proposition of AWS and participate in deep architectural discussions for successful deployment in the cloud.
Contribute to AWS internal and customer-facing publications such as white-papers and blogs.
Act as a liaison between customers, service engineering, and support to address customer needs.
