As a Financial Services Associate :

You will join a team of highly engaged professionals dedicated to providing an exceptional Member Experience. Your primary responsibilities include understanding Members' financial needs, providing appropriate advice and recommendations, including large or complex credit and investment advice.

You will be responsible for meeting and exceeding individual and team-based business goals while managing Member portfolios and building relationships.

What you’ll do :

  • Understand how Meridian’s products and services add value to Members
  • Provide investment advice and promote solutions meeting Member needs
  • Offer credit product recommendations based on credit interviewing and underwriting skills
  • Engage in revenue-generating activities and build external networks to optimize sales
  • Use tools to identify and promote opportunities, deepen relationships, and deliver flawless service
  • Embrace virtual platforms for meetings and Member engagement
  • Maintain confidentiality and respect Member privacy

Qualifications :

  • Post-secondary education and at least 3 years of relevant financial services experience with a sales record
  • Strong industry knowledge and desire for career growth
  • MFDA licensing is required for most roles
  • Flexibility to work evenings and Saturdays
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills
  • Effective organizational and problem-solving skills
