Description

As a Financial Services Associate 2, you are an integral part of the sales and service team at BlueShore Financial. In this essential role, you promote and sell BlueShore Financial products and services while recognizing opportunities for mutually beneficial product/service offerings. In this role you work directly with clients responding to a wide variety of requests using the "Four Pillars" approach - Banking, Investments, Credit, and Insurance.

Schedule: Monday - Friday or Tuesday - Saturday (flexibility is required)

Job Category: Client Service and Sales

Key responsibilities of this role are:

  • Provides superior service to un-assigned clients by responding to a wide variety of requestsusing the "Four Pillars" approach – Banking, Investments, Credit and Insurance.
  • Understands and advises clients on the purchase of registered and non-registered investment products (excluding MutualFunds). Completes and processes all related documentation.
  • Understands and advises clients on the purchase of personal lending products and services including personal loans, lines ofcredit, MasterCard applications and associated insurance products. Makes appropriate credit recommendations to Manager.
  • Calls unassigned clients during campaigns and as directed by Manager. Negotiates pricing and processes renewals withinestablished pricing grid.
  • Reviews clients’ Client Experience Management (CEM) profile during each interaction, updating as appropriate and acting upon potential opportunities. Refersmore complex needs to appropriate personnel as required. Uses CEM to enhance the Client Intimacy (CI) strategy
  • Possesses a solid understanding of the products and services offered through to BlueShore Wealth. Makes referrals where appropriate.
  • Holds cash box at the Parkgate branch and may provide backup for multiple roles as assigned by Manager, including Concierge.

Educationand Experience

  • 2 years’ experience in the financial services industry.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of retail lending, loans, lines of credit, etc.
    Solid understanding of core products and services
    Working towards mutual funds course
    Some post-secondary education preferred

Pay Transparency

This role is on a salary step program that provides timely recognition of skill development at important intervals. Salaries on this program are reviewed quarterly to reflect progress made. The range for this role is $53,700 - $58,700/year, plus variable reward bonus.
