Job summary

Meridian Credit Union in Hamilton, ON is seeking a Financial Services Associate for a 15-month contract. You will advise Members on credit and investment options, open new accounts, and collaborate with Wealth and Small Business teams to deepen relationships.

Ideal candidates hold MFDA licensing, 3+ years in financial services sales, and a client-focused approach to help Members achieve their goals; some evenings/weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education with 3+ years of equivalent work experience in financial services sales.
• MFDA licensing is required.

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed individual and team-based business goals.
• Provide investment advice by identifying solutions that fit Member needs.
• Open new Member accounts using account opening strategies.
• Build and maintain Member relationships and refer business to other channels.
• Align financial strategies with internal business partners to ensure value-added service.
