Job summary

Meridian Credit Union is seeking a Financial Services Associate for a 15‑month contract at our Hamilton branch. You will understand Members' financial needs, provide appropriate advice, and promote Meridian products and services to grow member relationships.

Responsibilities include meeting individual and team sales goals, offering investment guidance, opening new accounts, and referring business to other Meridian channels to maximize member value.

Qualifications

• Post‑secondary education at least 3 years of equivalent work experience in a financial services sales environment with a proven track record in sales.
• At minimum MFDA licensing is required.

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed specific individual and team-based business goals.
• Provide investment advice by identifying and promoting solutions that fit and meet our Member needs.
• Open new Member accounts using account opening strategies.
• Refer business to other channels and Meridian partners to grow member relationships.
• Proactively identify opportunities for Meridian products and services to add value for Members.
