JOB SUMMARY
We’re seeking a motivated Financial Planning Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you'll provide ad hoc financial analysis to support strategic planning, merger and acquisition opportunities.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives.
- Analyze financial data and create reporting packages and dashboards for management with clear, concise financial commentary.
- Support and assist in annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
- Provide insights and recommendations to management based on analysis.
- Provide ad hoc financial analysis to support strategic planning, merger and acquisition opportunities and operational improvements.
- Collaborate with various departments to gather financial information and ensure accuracy.
- Help develop and maintain financial systems and planning tools
- Drive process improvements to enhance forecasting accuracy and reporting efficiency.
- Prepare presentations for executive leadership and stakeholders.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial planning and analysis.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting.
- High attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software. Oracle Net Suite experience a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience with private equity backed organizations as well as mergers and acquisitions a plus.
