JOB SUMMARY


We’re seeking a motivated Financial Planning Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you'll provide ad hoc financial analysis to support strategic planning, merger and acquisition opportunities.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives.
  • Analyze financial data and create reporting packages and dashboards for management with clear, concise financial commentary.
  • Support and assist in annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to management based on analysis.
  • Provide ad hoc financial analysis to support strategic planning, merger and acquisition opportunities and operational improvements.
  • Collaborate with various departments to gather financial information and ensure accuracy.
  • Help develop and maintain financial systems and planning tools
  • Drive process improvements to enhance forecasting accuracy and reporting efficiency.
  • Prepare presentations for executive leadership and stakeholders.


QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.


Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial planning and analysis.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software. Oracle Net Suite experience a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Experience with private equity backed organizations as well as mergers and acquisitions a plus.
