Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated individual to join our Finance team. The Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst will be involved in budgeting, financial forecasting, business unit analytics, and variance analysis. Reporting to the Senior Financial Analyst, this role collaborates with Finance teams and business leaders across the North Region, assisting in analytics and supporting strategic financial decisions. The ideal candidate is a hands-on self-starter with strong Excel, financial modeling, analytics, and communication skills.

Job Location

This is a full-time, on-site position at our Oakville, ON office, with occasional travel to other North Region offices.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare financial models (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow), including weekly Flash, Estimates, and Budgets.
• Create, manage, and automate actual vs forecast, budget, and prior year reports for monthly/quarterly review.
• Analyze and report on key financial and operational metrics, identify trends, and make recommendations.
• Oversee linkages between financial systems and budgeting software.
• Perform ad-hoc financial analyses to support senior management.
• Monitor orders, sales, profit, and cash against targets.
• Assist with monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliation analysis.
• Support the Operating Company Controller in monthly reporting.
• Create and maintain Tableau reports.
• Proven experience in a manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
• Effective communication with non-finance stakeholders and strong business acumen are essential.
• Self-starter with a sense of urgency and follow-up skills.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 2+ years of FP&A experience in a corporate or consulting environment.
• MBA / CPA is a plus or in progress.
• Advanced Excel skills required.
• Strong financial modeling experience.
• Experience with Tableau or similar BI tools is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build trust across the company.
• Travel up to 25%.
