Job Summary
Reporting to the Senior Financial Analyst, Airport Operations - the analyst will support the Airport Operations (Airport Ops) team from an FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) standpoint by managing month-end flight statistics, tracking staffing costs, and analyzing airport account variances. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate airport rates for budgeting, assisting with opening of new accounts, and handling ad hoc financial tasks as needed. This role will support multiple teams including FP&A, General Accounting, and Airport Operations.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare, reconcile and enter month-end flight statistics entry.
- Assist FP&A with monthly reporting, including analysis of airport account variances.
- Assist with opening of new accounts and maintain invoice coding workbook.
- Analyze accounts and invoices to ensure airport rates are up to date for budget and forecasting.
- Work with Airport Ops team to track hourly staffing numbers at airports and compare to budget.
- Ad hoc analysis and tasks as required by Finance or Airport Ops teams.
- Actively participate in Porter’s Safety Management System (SMS) including, reporting hazards and incidents encountered in daily operations; understand, comply and promote the Company Safety Policy.

Qualifications
- Pursuing a bachelor’s or post-graduate degree in Accounting or Business.
- Ability to learn quickly including new software.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, with high proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Working knowledge of Coupa or Great Plains is considered an asset.
