About the role

As a Financial Advisor, Investment and Retirement Planning (FAIR), you will be a key member of our retail branch sales team. Your main responsibility is to contribute to the team’s success by meeting or exceeding deposit and investment sales goals through effective management of your client portfolio.

Your primary focus is to establish and deepen investment and banking relationships with existing clients and referrals from branch partners. You will promote the growth of proprietary investment business in your market area by:

  1. Conducting in-depth reviews for clients, including retirement, wealth, and estate planning, using financial planning tools to support their goals.
  2. Uncovering client needs and providing trusted financial advice regarding investments and retirement planning.
  3. Crafting personalized financial strategies based on client needs.
  4. Fostering engagement, educating clients, and delivering expert advice.
  5. Building strong relationships to ensure a great client experience and long-term loyalty.
  6. Using advanced technology to enhance client interactions and streamline processes.
  7. Achieving targets while maintaining a focus on client satisfaction and business growth.
Skills and qualifications
  • Experience in financial planning and investment sales preferred.
  • Completed CIFP CFP designation or equivalent recognized by the bank.
  • Licensed as a Mutual Funds Representative with completed Investment Funds in Canada or equivalent.
  • Collaborative, results-driven team player.
  • Knowledge of market trends, economic conditions, and regulatory environment.
