About the role

As a Financial Planner, you will focus on developing and deepening client relationships by providing high-quality advice and service within the mass affluent market. Your clients are your greatest asset, and your priority is providing investment and financial planning advice to help them meet their unique goals.

Following a comprehensive financial planning framework, your focus will be on investment sales, new client acquisition, and establishing business development opportunities within your assigned market area.

Key responsibilities include:
  1. Conducting in-depth reviews for clients, including retirement planning, wealth accumulation, and estate planning, utilizing financial planning tools to support their financial goals.
  2. Uncovering and solving for client needs, delivering trusted financial advice regarding investments and retirement planning.
  3. Demonstrating self-motivation and a goal-oriented mindset to craft personalized financial strategies.
  4. Building strong relationships, educating clients, and delivering expert advice.
  5. Collaborating with peers, clients, and partners to foster engagement and growth.
  6. Growing and maintaining long-term relationships with existing clients.
Qualifications and skills:
  • Experience in financial planning and investment sales preferred.
  • Progress towards or completed CIFP designation.
  • Accredited mutual funds professional in good standing with CIRO licensing requirements.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Knowledge of market trends, economic conditions, and regulatory environment.
  • Bilingual in French and English, capable of serving both English and French-speaking clients.
