About the role

As a Financial Planner, you will develop and deepen client relationships by providing high-quality advice and service within the mass affluent market. Your clients are your greatest asset, and your priority is to help them meet their unique financial goals through investment and financial planning advice.

Following a comprehensive financial planning framework, your focus will be on investment sales, new client acquisition, and establishing business development opportunities within your assigned market area.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Conducting in-depth reviews for clients, including retirement planning, wealth accumulation, and estate planning, utilizing financial planning tools to support their goals.
  2. Uncovering and solving clients' needs, delivering trusted financial advice regarding investments and retirement planning.
  3. Identifying opportunities and crafting personalized financial strategies with a self-motivated, goal-oriented approach.
  4. Building strong relationships, educating clients, providing insights, and delivering expert advice.
  5. Collaborating effectively with peers, clients, and partners.
  6. Growing long-term relationships with existing clients and attracting new ones.
Qualifications:
  • Experience in financial planning and investment sales preferred.
  • Completion or progress towards CIFP designation.
  • Accredited mutual funds professional in good standing with CIRO licensing (Investments Funds in Canada or Canadian Securities Course).
  • Ability to work independently as a self-motivated entrepreneur.
  • Knowledge of market trends, economic conditions, and regulatory environment.
  • Bilingual in French and English, able to serve both English and French-speaking clients.
