Qualifications

• Typically between 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Post-secondary degree in related field of study or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must meet regulatory/licensing requirements for Financial Planner in the province of employment.
• Advanced working knowledge of the financial industry.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent collaboration and teamwork abilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Influence skills with clients and partners.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial and investment planning and advice to address client needs.
• Determine client needs and provide solutions through sales of managed products and services.
• Grow loyalty by proactive engagement with customers and prospects via needs-based assessments.
• Develop and implement a relationship management plan to meet client needs.
• Achieve sales and performance targets; refer to business partners as appropriate.
• May work at multiple branches and through various channels to deliver the customer experience.
