About The Role

Our Group Retirement Consulting team supports clients at all stages of their retirement savings journey, providing expert advice to individuals and plan sponsors. We seek a detail-oriented and client-focused Financial Planner to assist group plan members and deliver investment reviews.

What You’ll Do
  • Conduct 1:1 meetings with group plan members, in person and virtual, to discuss retirement planning, financial wellness, and wealth management
  • Support members in their financial decisions throughout their savings journey
  • Utilize approved financial planning software
  • Build relationships with plan sponsors and deliver investment review reports
  • Participate in integrated selling, marketing activities, and webinars to promote NFP’s retirement services
  • Represent NFP in multi-product initiatives within the company
What You Bring
  • Willingness to foster a fun, friendly environment with clients
  • College/university degree or equivalent experience
  • Completion of LLQP
  • CFP or QAFP designation
  • Approximately five years of experience in group retirement or financial planning/insurance
  • Strong communication, project management, and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Attention to detail and mathematical aptitude
  • Commitment to excellent client service
