About the role

As a Financial Planner, you will focus on developing and deepening client relationships by providing high-quality advice and service within the mass affluent market. Your clients are your greatest asset, and your priority is to offer investment and financial planning advice to help them meet their unique goals.

Following a comprehensive financial planning framework, your focus will include investment sales, new client acquisition, and establishing business development opportunities within your assigned market area.

Key responsibilities
  1. Conduct in-depth reviews for clients, including retirement planning, wealth accumulation, and estate planning, utilizing financial planning skills and tools to support clients’ financial goals.
  2. Identify and solve clients’ needs, delivering trusted financial advice on investments and retirement planning.
  3. Demonstrate self-motivation and a goal-oriented mindset to craft personalized financial strategies.
  4. Build strong client engagement through education, insights, and expert advice.
  5. Collaborate effectively with peers, clients, and partners.
  6. Develop and maintain long-standing relationships with clients, focusing on providing excellent client experiences.
Qualifications
  1. Experience in financial planning and investment sales preferred.
  2. Progress towards or completion of the CIFP designation.
  3. Accredited mutual funds professional in good standing with CIRO licensing (Investments Funds in Canada or Canadian Securities Course).
  4. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  5. Knowledge of market trends, economic conditions, and regulatory environment.
  6. Bilingual in French and English, with the ability to serve both English and French-speaking clients.
