About the role

Internally known as Financial Advisor, Investment and Retirement Planning (FAIR), as a Financial Planner in our retail branch network, you will be part of the branch sales team responsible for contributing to the team’s overall success by meeting or exceeding deposit and investment sales goals through effective management of your assigned client portfolio.

Your primary role is to establish and deepen investment and banking relationships with existing clients and referrals from branch partners.

Promote the development and sustainable growth of proprietary investment business in your market area by:

  • Conducting in-depth reviews for clients including retirement, wealth accumulation, and estate planning using financial planning tools to support their financial goals.
  • Uncovering and solving clients’ needs, delivering trusted financial advice regarding investments and retirement planning.
  • Demonstrating motivation and a goal-oriented mindset to craft personalized financial strategies.
  • Fostering engagement, educating clients, and providing insights and expert advice.
  • Building long-term relationships with clients, focusing on great client experience.
  • Using advanced technology tools to enhance interactions and streamline processes.
  • Achieving targets to balance client satisfaction and business growth.
Skills and qualifications

We’d love to work with you if you have:

  • Experience in financial planning and investment sales preferred.
  • Completed the CIFP CFP designation or equivalent recognized by the bank.
  • Certification as a Mutual Funds Representative in good standing, with completed licensing requirements.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, results-driven team culture.
  • Knowledge of market trends, economic conditions, and regulations.
  • (If required) Bilingual in English and French, capable of serving English and French-speaking clients.
