As a Financial Planner, you will play an important role with your clients. Through the 7 fields of financial planning, you will work closely with the team to help and advise your clients in a distinctive and personalized way to achieve their life goals through the development of their financial plan.

  • Provide personalized financial planning tailored to your clients' needs and objectives.
  • Identify clients' investment and financing needs to offer optimal financial solutions.
  • Explore business development opportunities to attract new clients and expand existing portfolios.
  • Adapt to changing customer needs to deliver tailored solutions and exceptional customer experiences.
  • Ensure adherence to quality service standards, operational protocols, compliance, and risk management rules.

This position requires presence at the workplace to meet client and operational needs. We aim to contribute to your quality of life by offering flexibility, such as work schedule arrangements and flexible leave options.

Your team

You will be part of a large team in the Personal Banking sector, reporting to the Financial Planners Manager. You will oversee clients across three branches in Oakville, Burlington, and parts of Mississauga.

Our hands-on training programs enable you to master your role. Collaborating with colleagues of diverse expertise and backgrounds will enrich your professional development.

Prerequisites

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent recognized by FP Canada) and relevant experience in business development within financial advisory services.
  • Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation or on track to obtain it within 12 months.
  • Mutual Funds Representative (MFR) license.
  • Experience in portfolio management with a focus on business development.
  • Team player with a collaborative spirit.
