Shift Markets was founded in 2009, as a leader in traditional finance and the FX space. Sensing the seismic shifts taking place in the financial industry and recognizing the disruptive power of digital assets, we made it our mission to make these decentralized trends accessible to every business, from market leaders to small retailers.

We are growing quickly, and an opportunity has developed on our financial operations team with our partner entity for a Junior Financial Operations Associate for an FX broker. As our FinOps Associate, you will be interfacing with our team in Southeast Asia. The ideal candidate for this back-office role has a passion for finance and is looking for an opportunity at a high-growth company. This position is intended for candidates based in the Americas or Southeast Asia, working rotating shifts including overnight and weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Process deposits and withdrawals per customer requests
  • Create daily and weekly reports to manage cash flows
  • Track and analyze financial operations
  • Ensure accurate tracking and communicate with SE Asia based team about balances
  • Draft monthly and quarterly transaction projections and actively discuss them with management
  • Perform treasury duties

Requirements

  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel
  • Fluency in Mandarin is essential
  • Finance Operations related experience

This is a permanently remote position that requires working 40 hours per week and is intended for candidates based in the Americas or Southeast Asia, working rotating shifts including overnight and weekends.

Competitive pay (exact offer will be based on the candidate's experience and will range from $2,000 - $2,500 USD per month), with localized holidays and vacations.
