This outstanding role will have you providing financial analysis and support related to our critical operations. You will work closely with our Area Leadership Teams to flawlessly complete budgets, forecasts, cost control, project system administration, invoicing support, and ad hoc analysis. Your mentorship and support with monthly and yearly financial deliverables will be crucial to our success! #joinour team

What you will do:

• Prepare the monthly operating and project budget variances for approval and submission.
• Compile and analyze the monthly operating cost accruals.
• Complete the system set up of operating projects, budgeted and unbudgeted, and liaises with the operational project managers regarding cost control, accruals and forecasts.
• Provide training to staff on financial procedures and systems.
• Assist with internal and external audit requests.
• Complete ad hoc reporting and analysis on cost centers, general ledger accounts and projects including trend analysis.

Who you are:

• Related university degree and/or professional designation with four or more years of directly related experiences.

• Solid understanding of the budgeting cycle; long-term financial planning and multi-year budgeting would be an asset.

• Proficiency with financial management systems and applications including Advanced Excel (formulas and Pivot tables) PowerBI and SharePoint; Oracle Financials/Project Management would be an asset.

• Excellent analysis and problem-solving skills.

• Strong orientation towards customer service including tact, patience and diplomacy when dealing with internal and external customers.

Working Conditions:

• 80% office based and 20% travel to other locations within the region.
