Job summary

Husky Technologies is seeking a Financial Manager - PML in Bolton, Ontario to act as a true business partner to Product Line leadership. You will own the P&L, lead forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning, and provide forward-looking insights that challenge assumptions and drive sustainable growth.

This role sits at the heart of the business, with full visibility across Orders, Revenue, Margin, EBITDA and Cash.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business or related field.
• Professional designation (CPA / CMA / CA) or equivalent preferred.
• 5–8+ years of FP&A or finance experience.
• Experience partnering with senior stakeholders.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
• Advanced Excel skills; Power BI or similar tools strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as finance lead for the Product Line, partnering with GM and leadership.
• Provide insights on risks and opportunities influencing decisions.
• Challenge assumptions and align with strategy and targets.
• Drive accountability for financial performance (Orders → Revenue → EBITDA → Cash).
• Lead forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning processes.
• Deliver analysis versus Forecast, Budget, and Prior Year.
• Develop models and what-if scenarios to support decisions.
• Translate data into actionable recommendations for senior leadership.
• Build line-of-sight reporting on top-line and profitability drivers.
• Drive improvements in processes and leverage BI for insights.
• Coach non-finance stakeholders and act as change agent.

We are looking for a high-impact Finance Manager FP&A to act as a true business partner to our Product Line leadership team.

This role sits at the heart of the business, providing forward-looking insights, challenging assumptions, and driving performance across the business. You will play a critical role in shaping strategic decisions, ensuring financial rigor, and enabling sustainable growth.

This is not a reporting role — it is a decision-enabling role, with full visibility across Orders, Revenue, Margin, EBITDA, and Cash.

Key Responsibilities

Business Partnering & Performance Steering

• Act as the finance lead for the Product Line, partnering closely with the General Manager and leadership team
• Provide clear insights on risks and opportunities, influencing both strategic and operational decisions
• Challenge assumptions and ensure alignment with company strategy and financial targets
• Drive accountability across the business for financial performance (Orders → Revenue → EBITDA → Cash)

Financial Planning & Analysis

• Lead the forecasting, budgeting, and long‑range planning processes for the Product Line
• Deliver accurate, timely and insightful analysis versus Forecast, Budget, and Prior Year
• Perform detailed Price / Volume / Mix / Cost (PVM) analysis with clear business storytelling
• Develop robust financial models and “what-if” scenarios to support decision‑making

Performance Insights & Decision Support

• Translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations for senior leadership
• Develop and maintain line‑of‑sight reporting on key top‑line and profitability drivers
• Identify risks early and proactively propose mitigation actions
• Support key strategic initiatives and transformation programs

Process, Tools & Continuous Improvement

• Drive improvements in financial processes, reporting, and forecasting accuracy
• Leverage BI tools and automation to streamline reporting and enhance insights
• Ensure data consistency and integrity across systems and reporting

Leadership & Capability Building

• Build financial awareness across the business by coaching non‑finance stakeholders
• Act as a change agent, continuously challenging the status quo and driving improvements
• Take full ownership of your scope and operate with a high level of autonomy and accountability

• Advanced Excel skills; Power BI or similar tools strongly preferred
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics AX)
• Fluent in English; additional languages are an asset
• Willingness to travel as required
