Job description

The role will report to the Business Operations organization, with the responsibility for providing financial support to assigned programs.

Dependent upon the size and complexity of the program(s), some of the responsibilities include:

  1. Ensuring adherence to external and internal Financial and Program Performance Management requirements within the Program Finance area of responsibility;
  2. Supporting the Program Business rhythm on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis;
  3. Assisting Senior Analysts and the PM in developing required command media and establishing critical structures for program management and reporting, such as the Work Breakdown Structure mapped to SAP and Program Toolsets;
  4. Supporting Senior Analysts in establishing and maintaining program logs, such as the Budget Baseline log;
  5. Assisting the PM team in developing Estimates to Complete and ensuring compliance with the program's Change process and thresholds using established guidelines;
  6. Supporting the PM team in analyzing and forecasting financial performance, including developing monthly outlooks or forecasts and analyzing deviations from annual Outlooks and Long Range Plans;
  7. Preparing invoices for customer billings on a monthly or as-required basis.

What you bring to the role

  • College Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field;
  • 1-3 years of experience in financial administration or analysis roles;
  • Understanding and application of basic accounting principles in the workplace.

Additional skills desired

  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel;
  • Knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Access is an asset;
  • Attention to detail, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to multitask and meet conflicting deadlines.
