What You’ll Do
  • Facilitate financial education workshops (in-person and online)
  • Provide one-on-one coaching on budgeting, saving, debt, and benefits
  • Build positive relationships with participants and community partners
  • Use Launch Okanagan’s program materials (training provided)
  • Contribute ideas to adapt and evolve curriculum
  • (Optional) Support with basic tax returns via CRA’s volunteer program (training provided)
  • Keep accurate records and share feedback with our team
What We’re Looking For
  • Strong facilitation and group leadership skills
  • Ability to create a safe, inclusive, judgment-free space
  • Experience with vulnerable or diverse populations; trauma-informed approach
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable using Zoom and digital tools
  • Background in financial literacy, adult education, or social services is an asset (not required)
  • Willingness to travel within the Okanagan (expenses reimbursed)
About the Role
  • Part-time contractor, $28–$32/hour
  • Flexible scheduling (some evenings/weekends depending on programs)
  • Hybrid work model: community partner sites + home office
