What You’ll Do
- Facilitate financial education workshops (in-person and online)
- Provide one-on-one coaching on budgeting, saving, debt, and benefits
- Build positive relationships with participants and community partners
- Use Launch Okanagan’s program materials (training provided)
- Contribute ideas to adapt and evolve curriculum
- (Optional) Support with basic tax returns via CRA’s volunteer program (training provided)
- Keep accurate records and share feedback with our team
What We’re Looking For
- Strong facilitation and group leadership skills
- Ability to create a safe, inclusive, judgment-free space
- Experience with vulnerable or diverse populations; trauma-informed approach
- Great communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable using Zoom and digital tools
- Background in financial literacy, adult education, or social services is an asset (not required)
- Willingness to travel within the Okanagan (expenses reimbursed)
