Our client is seeking a dynamic and motivated Financial Controller to join its team in a growing sustainability company.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Finance Director, the Financial Controller must be proactive and solution-oriented, with a solid understanding of financial principles and the ability to collaborate across teams. Main tasks include:

  1. Oversee and manage financial activities, including accounting, reporting, and cash flow management
  2. Develop and implement financial processes aligned with strategic goals
  3. Prepare and analyze financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
  4. Ensure compliance with financial and tax regulations
  5. Collaborate with operational departments to optimize costs and efficiency
  6. Manage budgets, forecasts, and cash flow plans
  7. Support strategic decisions with financial analysis and recommendations
  8. Coordinate internal and external audits
  9. Maintain relationships with investors, banks, and stakeholders
  10. Perform other related tasks as needed
Qualifications
  • University degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant experience
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and IFRS/GAAP
  • Analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in accounting software and financial tools
  • Understanding of sustainable development issues
