Job description

Position Summary

Technicut Tool(TCT) is seeking aManufacturingControllerfor our Windsor, Ontariolocation.If you are looking for an organization and career that will match your strong work ethic and passion for success, Technicut Tool is a great place to start!

*The salary range for this position is between $70,000 - $85,000 per year depending on experience*

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage all day-to-day accounting operations including A/P, A/R, bank reconciliations, general ledger, and payroll.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements and supporting schedules in accordance with ASPE (Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises).
  • Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Track and reconcile job costing and manufacturing-related expenses.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and cost records within the ERP system.
  • Manage and file sales tax and other regulatory filings as needed.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and manage purchase order matching.
  • Manage cash flow tracking and forecasting.
  • Maintain fixed asset schedules and depreciation tracking.
  • Manage documentation for audits, budgets, and financial reviews in coordination with the CFO.
  • Manage internal control processes and documentation.
  • Manage the company’s banking relationship and accounts.
  • Perform other bookkeeping and accounting duties as assigned.

Experience, Qualifications, and Skills

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or equivalent is required.
  • 5-8 years of bookkeeping/accounting experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Experience with ERP or MRP systems (e.g., Epicor, JobBOSS, SAP, IQMS).
  • Solid understanding of full-cycle accounting and payroll processing.
  • Job costing and inventory accounting experience strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software and Excel.
  • Strong understanding of ASPE and standard accounting practices.
  • High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Comfortable working independently and handling confidential information.
  • Position available to Canadian Citizens or Canadian Permanent Residents ONLY.
