An established industry player is seeking a Financial Controller to lead financial operations and strategic planning. This pivotal role involves overseeing all aspects of financial management, from compliance and reporting to budgeting and forecasting. ● Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
● Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure efficiency and compliance.
● Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
● Analyze financial performance and provide strategic recommendations to management.
● Manage cash flow, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions.
● Ensure compliance with tax regulations, audits, and financial reporting requirements.
● Liaise with external auditors, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies as needed.
● Collaborate with department heads to optimize financial planning and cost control.
● Identify opportunities for financial process improvements and cost savings.
● Support executive decision-making with data-driven financial insights.
● Leadership & Communication: Strong ability to guide financial strategy and collaborate with senior leadership.
● Analytical Thinking: Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
● Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to financial reporting and compliance.
● Strategic Vision: Ability to align financial operations with company goals and drive cost-saving initiatives.
● Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
● 5+ years of experience in financial management, preferably in a similar industry.
● Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws.
● Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
● Experience managing financial teams or functions.
● Experience in the renewable energy or construction industry.
● Familiarity with financial forecasting and cost-control methodologies.
● Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, standard business hours, with flexibility as required.
● Compensation: 90,000 - 110,000 starting salary. This allows room for growth within the company.
