Position Overview

Reporting to the President, the candidate will oversee financial operations, ensure accurate reporting, and provide strategic guidance, particularly in project costing within metal fabrication for general contractors.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Implement financial controls and procedures.
• Prepare financial statements and conduct variance analysis.
• Analyze key financial metrics and manage cash flow.
• Oversee tax compliance.
• Collaborate on project costing for metal fabrication projects.
• Apply in-depth knowledge of the construction industry to financial tasks.

Qualifications

• CPA preferred.
• 3-4 years of progressive finance experience in the steel and/or metal industries.
• Strong understanding of custom metal fabrication and installation for the construction industry, especially in finance and project costing.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel.
