The Role

We’re looking for a skilled and driven Financial Controller to join our growing finance team. This role will take a lead accounting and reporting position for Jacked Factory, one of Nutra’s core brands, while also supporting the financial oversight of a small group of related entities within the same corporate structure.

This is a high-impact, hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and is eager to take ownership and grow alongside a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day accounting and financial operations for Jacked Factory, including general ledger, AP/AR, inventory accounting, and reconciliations
• Oversee month-end close and prepare timely, accurate internal financial statements and reports
• Support related entities with full-cycle accounting, reporting, and financial controls
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards (ASPE), tax filings, regulatory compliance and internal controls
• Collaborate with FP&A and operations teams to drive budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Assist with audit preparation and coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors
• Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and scalability
• Mentor and support junior team members as the finance team grows
  
  

Qualifications

• CPA designation
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, exposure to eCommerce would be considered an asset
• Strong understanding of ASPE and full-cycle accounting
• Experience managing accounting for multiple entities or business units
• Proficient in Excel; experience with Xero, Datarails, or similar systems is an asset
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and adaptable
• Strong communicator with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
