Description

Position : Financial Controller Location : Saskatoon, SK

Organization : BGC Saskatoon - On Site

Position Type : Full Time, Permanent (35 hours per week)

Compensation : Competitive, based on education / designation and experience.

Eligible for the BGC Saskatoon benefit package after 3 month probationary period.

Starting Date : ASAP

What You’ll Do
  • Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
  • Ensure compliance with Canadian accounting standards for not-for-profits.
  • Audit preparation and maintain strong internal controls.
  • Collaborate on grant reporting and fund tracking.
What You Bring
  • CPA designation (preferred) and a diploma or degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 5+ years of accounting experience, ideally in the nonprofit sector.
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian not-for-profit accounting standards.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
