Role Summary :

We are seeking a Brewery Controller to oversee financial reporting and control for our Craft breweries & Special Ops operations. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate month-end close, inventory management, and financial insights to support supply chain decisions. The ideal candidate has strong accounting expertise, experience in manufacturing or supply environments, and the ability to collaborate with both finance and operational teams.

JOB RESPONSIBILITES :

  • Responsible for financial activities and results for supply operations, with a specific focus on the Turning Point site
  • Manage a team of two people, responsible for the financial activities in Archibald, Banded Peak, and Copack / Repack sites
  • Act as the primary point of contact for ATR, Reporting & Supply finance matters
  • Ensure the accuracy of the income statement and balance sheet items pertaining to the supply business units, including co-packers
  • Provide financial visibility to support cost-related targets and decision making
  • Provide support on the analysis and explanation of performance variances against the budget, with a focus on variable industrial costs, fixed industrial costs, and supply chain losses. Provide guidance to supply leaders throughout the post-close cycle
  • Support the preparation of the budget for Canada supply (excluding central overheads) and assist in developing plans and executing actions to help achieve cost-related targets.
  • Lead or assist in other financial related activities relevant to Canada supply as required

QUALIFICATIONS :

  • University Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience
  • Certified Professional Accountant (CPA) preferred
  • Strong ownership and accountability
  • Ability to work within tight reporting deadlines
  • Resilience to work in high-pressure environments
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated and proactive
  • Experience with Power BI
  • Familiarity with back-office financial tools
