BettingJobs are working with a successful land-based casino who are looking to add a Financial Controller to their team in Trois-Rivières.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the General Manager and leadership team to guide financial and strategic decision-making.
  • Lead the development and execution of financial and accounting strategies to maximize profitability and strengthen the company’s position.
  • Oversee all accounting operations and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide financial analysis and actionable insights to support business growth, operational planning, and long-term objectives.
  • Ensure robust and scalable financial systems are in place to support current operations and future expansion.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop finance teams.
  • Drive the budgeting process and monitor performance against targets.
  • Manage treasury, cash flow, debt, capital, and tax strategies.
  • Present annual accounts and financial updates to investors and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required).
  • CPA designation (preferred).
  • 3–5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the MS Office suite.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and leadership abilities.
