Licensed Sales Assistant or Associate Wealth Advisor

Affinity Financial Strategies ("AFS"), in partnership with GP Financial Services, is currently seeking a Licensed Sales Assistant or an Associate Wealth Advisor. AFS is a wealth management provider offering financial planning, investments, and insurance to a portfolio of existing clients, credit union members, and their communities. GP Financial Services is an independent Wealth Management office with over 30 years of experience providing financial planning and investment management for individuals and families.

This role involves providing administrative and sales support to a Senior Wealth Advisor. You will be mentored by an experienced advisor, working with existing clients and credit union members. Your responsibilities include supporting client relationships, assisting in delivering comprehensive financial strategies based on individual needs and goals, and engaging in marketing activities, file preparation, and client management.

Ideal candidates are personable self-starters with at least 2 years of successful financial advisory experience, attention to detail, and a desire to learn.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Schedule and hold client meetings with the Senior Wealth Advisor, supporting the development of financial strategies and recommendations.
  2. Assist with office administrative duties and support senior staff in managing ongoing client relationships to ensure seamless operations and strong client engagement.
  3. Create and maintain client files, adhering to compliance requirements.
  4. Promote and market the firm's investment and insurance services both internally and externally.
  5. Support Credit Union staff in referring qualified clients for investment and estate solutions, in compliance with the Credit Union Act.
  6. Stay informed about the latest trends in financial planning, investments, and insurance solutions, maintaining broad knowledge of product offerings, industry competitors, current issues, and strategies.

The successful candidate will work out of our AFS/GP Financial Services office in Regina, SK. We value entrepreneurial, team-oriented individuals who thrive in a relationship-based environment. Candidates should have a post-secondary diploma or degree in a related field. Preference will be given to those who have completed the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) or possess the Life License Qualification Program (LLQP). The candidate will be required to complete the education necessary to become a IIROC-licensed Investment Representative within an agreed timeframe. Holding a Financial Planning designation or enrollment in a Financial Planning program is considered an asset.
