JOB DESCRIPTION

How You Will Contribute

You will be a part of a finance team in the Real Estate Asset Management Group responsible for the following activities in real estate investments :

  • A key member of the Asset Management and Financial Management team partner with third party property and asset managers in the financial management of the investments.
  • Partner with the Portfolio Management Group to provide timely and accurate information in asset trades purchases and sales.
  • Prepare Quarterly and Annual financial reporting for audit and debt compliance.
  • Partner with third party providers for tax return strategy. Review tax returns for filing.
  • Participate in the growth of the teams responsibilities as investments are onboarded
  • Participate in platform efficiency improvements with the recent transition to Yardi accounting platform

Requirements

What You Bring to TD

  • 5 - 10 years of experience in accounting audit finance taxation
  • Post-secondary degree
  • Strong computer skills with advanced proficiency in Microsoft excel. Exposure to an accounting software and report writing.
  • Excellent communication problem solving analytical and multi-tasking skills
  • Organized detail- and purposeful and meticulous in their work
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment under tight deadlines
  • Please note employees will be going to the office 4 days starting March 2025
