Job summary

A leading company is hiring for an HR Cost Controller on a contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing staff costs, supporting budgeting processes, and providing key reporting to various stakeholders. This role requires 2-4 years of relevant experience in HR or finance and offers an opportunity to contribute to financial strategy within an exciting team dynamic. Qualifications

Position Summary

  • HR Cost Controlling: Assist the HR Controller in accurately reporting staff costs, including positions, salaries, allowances, bonuses, and benefits, ensuring timely and compliant submissions in accordance with Group requirements.
  • Help to analyze overhead variances vs Budget by identifying key reasons behind trends.
  • Support the finance teams in strategic processes, such as budgeting, forecasting, analyzing for trend, and scenario-modeling all aspects of compensation and benefits.
  • Prepare monthly actuals reconciliation and vacancy reports for key stakeholders
  • Financial Transactions: Monitor payroll & benefits reinvoicing process involving the US and Canada-based affiliates and any globally mutualized functions.
  • Headcount-Related Reporting: Maintain Staff Cost data reporting dashboard and support with regular and ad hoc headcount-related reporting (including Group Social Reporting) and KPIs for the US and Canada-based affiliates, including engaging with People Business Partners, Finance, Account, and Auditors if required.

This is a 9 month contract position.

Required Skills & Abilities

  • 2- 4 years experience working in HR Control, Accounting, Budget, FP&A; with an understanding of forecasts and turnover
  • Experience in Workforce Planning/Analytics and Annual Budget tracking is a plus
  • Critical thinking and ability to multi-task in pressure situations
  • Computer skills – Workday (Adaptive Insights experience preferred), Power BI, PowerPoint, Word, advanced in Excel (Office Connect & Thinkcell)
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism

Education

  • Required:College Diploma, Human Resources or Finance
  • Preferred:College Diploma in relative field –Business / Finance / Accounting / Human Resources
