Job description

Adecco is actively seeking a Senior Financial Analyst on behalf of a high-growth SaaS company based in Ottawa, ON. This Onsite only full-time position offers a competitive salary of $90,000 to $100,000 CAD per year and a key opportunity to influence the company's Go-To-Market strategy through advanced financial modelling, reporting, and analysis. In this role, you'll work closely with cross-functional leadership teams across sales, marketing, and partner success to support critical business decisions. The ideal candidate has 5-7 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with a strong command of data-driven strategy, business partnering, and process improvement.

Responsibilities:
  • Partner with Senior Revenue Operations Analysts to design, enhance, and maintain comprehensive Go-To-Market (GTM) financial models spanning multiple customer segments, product offerings, and market scenarios.
  • Conduct in-depth financial performance analysis to uncover trends, assess risks, and identify opportunities that support strategic GTM initiatives.
  • Develop and deliver clear, insightful dashboards, reports, and presentations tailored for senior leadership to inform business decisions and long-term planning.
  • Establish and track key financial and operational performance indicators that align with GTM objectives and broader company strategy.
  • Lead the preparation of annual budgets and rolling forecasts, ensuring financial plans are strategically aligned and responsive to market conditions.
  • Continuously monitor actual performance against budgets and forecasts, perform variance analysis, and provide actionable recommendations to drive course correction.
  • Provide strategic financial support to the sales team, including RFP pricing analysis, cost modelling, and revenue forecasting to strengthen deal competitiveness.
  • Oversee the financial review and approval of customer discount requests in collaboration with the Revenue Operations team, ensuring margin and policy alignment.
  • Deliver timely, high-impact ad hoc financial analysis to support cross-functional initiatives and enhance operational efficiency across the business.
Requirements:
  • Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related discipline; an MBA, CPA, or CFA designation is considered a strong asset.
  • Proven track record of academic and professional excellence, with strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.
  • 5-7 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, ideally within a high-growth SaaS or technology-driven environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with solid command of PowerPoint and Word for executive-level reporting and presentations.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects and deadlines with precision, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate financial insights into clear, actionable recommendations for non-financial stakeholders.
