Job summary

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of experience in financial analysis and accounting, with a strong foundation in securities and financial markets. Hybrid Toronto-based role with a 12-month contract.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of relevant financial analysis/accounting experience.
• Strong financial reporting experience.
• Experience working with securities and/or financial markets.
• Solid accounting knowledge and experience.
• Experience analyzing and reconciling large data sets.
• University degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and consistently meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Calculate foreign exchange (FX) P&L and trade exposures.
• Support financial reporting and accounting activities.
• Review and analyze large volumes of financial and transactional data.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial information.
• Support ongoing business-as-usual finance activities and ad hoc requests.
• Manage deliverables and reporting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
