Sobeys is full of exciting opportunities, and we are always looking for bright new talent to join our team! We currently have an opportunity for a full time Financial Analyst, eCommerce Reporting to join our finance team.

Here’s where you’ll be focusing:

  1. Manage and oversee all FP&A activities including budgeting and dynamic forecasting for the total Voila banner
  2. Work with Corporate FP&A as required on budgets/forecasts and consolidations
  3. Work with the Voila finance team and business partners to conduct period and quarter end variance analysis
  4. Track, analyze, and forecast capital expenditures for Voila projects
  5. Provide analysis, guidance, and recommendations for potential business activities and initiatives
  6. Lead monthly finance meetings with Senior Voila Leadership and business partners to discuss results and identify financial risks and opportunities
  7. Develop strategic financial models and business case documents to support expansion and new initiatives
  8. Drive continuous improvement with processes and reporting

What you have to offer:

  1. University degree in finance or accounting
  2. A first experience of related work experience, preferably in an FP&A environment
  3. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  4. Strong analytical and financial modelling skills
  5. Working knowledge of SAP, BW systems, an asset
  6. Professional designation or working towards one (CA, CGA, CMA, CFA), an asset
  7. Experience building executive materials and communicating effectively with senior leadership
  8. Ability to work in a deadline driven environment, and under limited supervision
  9. Ability to successfully manage several tasks at one time
