Job summary

Canadian Tire Corporation’s Finance team is seeking an experienced FP&A Financial Analyst to support CTR Opex & Corp Functions and provide forward-looking financial insights. You will partner with business clients and drive efficiency in reporting and forecasting during a period of transformation.

You will analyze large datasets, build financial models, and deliver timely and actionable information to senior leadership while advancing the team’s analytical capabilities and data storytelling.

Qualifications

• University degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance.
• 1 to 3 years progressive experience in finance roles.
• Advanced Excel proficiency; experience with financial modelling and Power BI.

Our Finance team plays a key role in helping us stay competitive in the ever-changing retail environment by providing accurate, timely, and high-quality financial planning & reporting, analysis, and advice. Reporting to the Manager, CTR Opex & Corp Functions FP&A, this role helps drive the organization to achieve its financial and strategic targets by providing financial insights, partnering with business clients, and leading efficiency improvements during a period of significant transformation.

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Financial Analyst of FP&A to support various initiatives across the CTR Opex & Corp Functions portfolio. This role will deliver seamless and timely forward-looking financial and business information, as well as actionable value-added business insights to key executive decision makers.

• University degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance
• 1 to 3 years progressive experience in finance roles
• Working towards a CPA, CFA, or Post Graduate Degree (MBA) considered an asset

Broadband Salary Range: $53,000 – $88,000. Typical hiring range: $65,000 – $75,000.
