Role Overview: Are you creative, analytical, and a problem solver seeking a role that supports the company's growth? This position supports CAE Commercial’s Aviation Financial Reporting, contributing to financial forecasts, budgeting, variance analysis, business performance tracking, and special projects. You will provide strategic financial consulting to senior management, including preparing presentations and analysis to support business decisions. The role reports to the Director of Finance, Commercial Aviation.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Consolidate financial reports for the Commercial Business and prepare presentations for senior management.
2. Analyze trends in revenue, costs, expenses, and capital expenditures.
3. Monitor budgets and perform trend analysis for management review.
4. Prepare backlog and order intake reports, analyzing variances.
5. Support annual budgeting and develop financial models and tools.
6. Create financial analyses to support strategic initiatives.
7. Provide financial recommendations based on complex reports.
8. Assist senior management with in-depth analysis and ad-hoc reports.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce with a focus on Finance or Accounting; CPA required.
• Minimum 3 years in Financial Reporting or a similar role within a large organization.
• Hands-on support experience and strong business partnering skills.
• Experience in multinational organizations preferred.
• High accuracy, organization, creativity, motivation, and excellent communication skills.
• Bilingual in English and French.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
