Job Overview :

We are seeking a skilled Financial Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial services, business intelligence, and accounting software. Under the direction of the financial controller and in conjunction with all sectors of the organization, the Financial Analyst will play a key role in analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and providing insights to support decision-making processes.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze discrepancies between financial results and operating budgets
  • Review and improve performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Prepare weekly financial forecasts
  • Prepare monthly cost analysis (standard cost system) and explain variances
  • Assist the controller and assistant controller in the preparation of monthly financial reports
  • Assist the controller in the preparation of annual budgets
  • Assist, when required, different stakeholders in the organization by providing information and calculations relevant to decision-making
  • Participate in various process and system improvement initiatives
  • Using business intelligence (BI) tools, develop reports to support decision-making
  • Problem solving and logic programming skills

Prerequisites

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment in cost management
  • CPA title or in the process of obtaining
  • Must have strong analytical and financial management skills
  • Creative, curious and detail-oriented
