AMA is seeking a Financial Analyst to join our Finance team and turn data into meaningful insights that guide business decisions. You will work with internal stakeholders to evaluate processes, improve forecasting, and support continuous improvement across financial operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or higher degree in Business/Finance or related field.
• CPA or equivalent designation is an asset.
• 3+ years of progressive experience in a finance role.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, providing actionable insights for decision-making.
• Improve and maintain forecasting models for better financial planning and accuracy.
• Review and provide guidance on technical work performed by accountants.
• Prepare reports, analyses, and recommendations for senior leadership.
• Complete month-end close requirements and ensure timely publication of financial statements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in processes, controls, and financial practices.
• Prepare financial disclosures for year-end reporting to stakeholders.

• Post-secondary degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline.

• Proven ability to analyze data, identify trends, and provide insights.
• Experience with financial modelling and forecasting is an asset.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
