The Financial Analyst is responsible for daily and monthly reporting, entries, close process, reconciliations and reporting to leadership. This role works with various data to support leaderships financial decision making, provides insightful recommendations and ideas for process improvement.

What you'll do:

  • Prepare and post journal entries, intercompany transactions, accruals and associated month end related entries
  • Identify trends, variances and risks in financial data
  • Review and reconciliation of general ledger accounts, prepaids and related SGA accounts and explain significant variances
  • Support teams for month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Prepare timely, insightful, actionable, and accurate trial balance variance reports
  • Assist with SKU updates and reporting for month end
  • Provide recommendations for process improvements in reporting and analysis.
  • Ad Hoc reporting and analysis as necessary to facilitate decision making.
What we expect of you:
Must-have:
  • Bachelor's degree finance or accounting.
  • Understanding of basic organizational planning / reporting processes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (specifically Excel, including formulas, pivot tables and charts)
  • Good verbal and written communications skills with the ability to effectively interact with and present to all stakeholders including senior leadership
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • 1-2 years of experience in financial analysis, variance analysis, and budgeting/forecasting.
  • Working knowledge of financial software (Cognos, HFM, Workday)
  • CPA or working towards one
  • Data analysis experience
Pay range: $ 66,000 - $ 75,000, depending on experience and skill set
