The Regional District of Kootenay Boundary seeks a Financial Analyst for a full-time role in Trail, BC. The position involves financial reporting, analysis, and project involvement in an expanding finance department. The RDKB is currently seeking applications to fill a permanent, full-timeFinancial Analyst position in Trail, BC. The RDKB has expanded the Finance department to meet growing regulatory and auditing requirements, as well as to assist in the responsible administration of grant monies across the district. Reporting to the Manager of Finance, the Financial Analyst will provide reporting, analysis and information to leaders across the organization to support public service delivery throughout the region. As part of the Finance department, the Financial Analyst will work across a range of projects, including the RDKB’s award-winning annual report, auditing and budgets, and help to ensure the integrity of financial reporting and accounting for the organization.

Position Information

Office Hours: Monday to Friday, 35-37.5 hours per week (winter/summer schedule)
Compensation: $45.59/hr (2025)
Union: CUPE Local 2254
