Job Title: Financial Analyst

Responsibilities

Accounting:

• Perform data entry during month end close process including A/R, A/P, and job costing
• Input vendor and customer information into location accounting software
• Input other accounting information such as fixed asset purchases
• Reconcile accounts as needed
• Assist with check writing and EFT payments when necessary
• Assist other off-site and location employees
• Miscellaneous duties as assigned by the location Manager or the Corporate Controller

Financial Planning & Analysis:

• Coordinate the company’s annual planning and monthly forecasting and reporting processes
• Support and liaise with Operations and Plant Managers through daily support and finance guidance
• Prepare the monthly P&L forecast for reporting packages to management and stakeholders
• Develop reporting methods for tracking KPIs against budgets and forecasts
• Analyze trends and variances for KPIs, including bookings, revenues, costs, expenses, and capital expenditures
• Work with managers to analyze operational performance and meet financial targets
• Support decision-making with in-depth financial data analysis
• Assist in implementing CPM or BI tools integrated with the company’s accounting system
• Provide support on accounting matters and communicate planning assumptions
• Participate in knowledge sharing across divisions
• Contribute to the creation of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP)
• Provide strategic analysis on sales, spending, and labor trends
• Analyze non-revenue work, including work orders, rework, unbilled and billed analysis, and overtime
• Monitor location performance using job orders and reports
• Prepare and present weekly operational reports
• Create KPIs for management review monthly

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $33.00/hr.
