The Position
Elective is hiring a Financial Analyst to strengthen their lean and growing finance team. Reporting to the Head of Finance & Risk, this role is responsible for financial reporting, operations, strategic analysis, and maintaining the corporate financial model.
This individual will take ownership of day-to-day accounting controls and processes across AR, AP, payroll, and loan sales; support the month-end close cycle and financial reporting; lead variance analysis and KPI tracking; and contribute to financial planning, forecasting, and ad hoc analysis.

Location & Work Environment
This position is based in Vancouver, BC (2015 Main Street). It is a hybrid role with flexible hot desk access, and an expectation to transition to a full-time, in-person role within 12 months.
Compensation & Benefits
Elective’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The annual salary range for a Financial Analyst is $65,000 to $90,000, and for a Senior Financial Analyst, it is $80,000 to $115,000, with a performance-based bonus included. This range reflects market benchmarks and accounts for varying levels of experience, from candidates growing into the role to those with an established track record. Compensation will be determined based on relevant knowledge, skills, and experience.
